Upon further investigation, the item and lot does NOT exist on the SO

1. Tools > Object Designer

2. Find T337 Reservation Entry

3. Filter on

Source Type = 81

Source ID = BLANK

Item No = XXXX1

Lot No = XXXX2

4. Delete all these entries

What is happening is because these entries do NOT have a Source ID, these reservation entries are being picked up during the Close Order process and causing a error because these reservation entries are not linked to the Sales Orders.

To setup box dimensions, it is recommended to use Standard Option Setups

1. Shipping & Receiving > Shipping > Setup > Standard Option Setup

2. Enter in the Code, such as X1

4. Override Tab : Tick Override Dimensiosn : Fill in Override Length, Override Width, Override Height

During Pack Line Scanning, to select the Box Dimensions

There is a bug in PDF955 where after running for a couple of days it sends out the last invoice used rather than the invoice been created

The only solution to this is to restart the server so that it would send out the correct PDF Invoice

NAV - SQL Database Backup + Restore

To create a Test database from NAV, you can follow these steps

1. Tools > Backup

- Entire Database = Yes

- Select where you want the backup to go

2. File > Database > New

- Select the SQL Server that you want to restore to

3. New Database Screen

- Database Name : This needs to be filled in

- Database Files Tab > File Name : Make sure that the directory selected has enough space available to handle the new database

- Transaction Log Files Tab > File Name : Make sure that the directory selected has enough space available to handle the new Transaction Log file

- Options Tab > Recovery Model : For TEST databases set to Simple, this will reduce the transaction log file size

- Advanced Tab > Security Model : Standard, this will minimize the need to Synchronize User permissions

- You do not need to select the database size as the database will automatically grow as needed

- Press OK button to create the new database

3. Tools > Restore

- Make sure you are in the new database

- Select the backup file to restore from

To fix the problem you can do

Filter on - Qty per Standard Pack = 0
This will identify the items that cause the problem

//CSP Create Standard Pack for the other items

To fix the source of the problem you will need to do

Fedex Ground Tracking Number not found in system

This error occurs when the Package External Tracking No. can not be found by Fedex

The order is put in limbo, as you can NOT reopen or delete the package

The solution is to temproarily remove the Fedex code when trying to reopen or delete the package.

It is important after making the changes that you reenable the Fedex code

Go to Fedex Shipping Agent line
Remove Shipper Type = FEDEX
Now you can reopen or delete the package
After you have made your changes we have to put the FEDEX Shipper Type back

You need to go to the Sales Order form to resolve this issue

If you are unable to look up the E-Ship Agent Service code, you need to do the following

What happens is the following

850 is imported
It is moved to Inbox
The filename is renamed as EDI Document.Interface File Name-EDI Document No.-Sequence No.
The EDI Document.Interface File Name is used to find which trading partner it belongs to
Therefore if you more than 1 trading partner with the same EDI Document.Interface File Name, it will find the 1st Trading Partner with the Name and process itself accordingly

The solution is for EACH Trading Partner to have a different EDI Document.Interface File Name

Create a Packing Rule

To create a Packing Rule follow these steps

4. Enter in name of new Packing Rule

ASN Not received

2. On External Document No. : Ctrl+F Enter in Purchase order No.

5. Functions Button > E-Ship > Create Bill of Lading

1. To find a specific ASN inside a file you will need the Order No. or Bill of Lading No.

2b. This information will narrow down which textfiles to open

Sales Order with NO Unit of Measure

Autozone 997 error
